Christmas Gaming

I got a ton of games for Christmas (well, more than I was expecting,
at least). Halo 3, Left 4 Dead, Burnout Paradise, and Far Cry 2, along
with Chrono Trigger for my DS. However, I've only been able to play
them in the last week, which is a TOTAL RIPOFF lol. So I played Halo
mostly, and I likitalot. I also played Burnout a bit, which was a ton
of fun, especially online. I also just started Far Cry for like 2
minutes, so I can't really say much about that. I'm saving L4D for
some time when there's people I know to play with.
Disney Channel makes me want to gouge my eye out with a pencil.

Madden 09

Me and Matt just played a ridiculous game of Madden. I'm pretty sure the whole thing is based on luck. I didn't throw a single interception, and Matt fumbled about 30 times and threw 4 INTs. And the thing was, he was playing the Cowboys who have a team rating of 96, and I was playing the Packers who were rated at 91. EA Sports hates Texas. 

Since it was pretty much impossible to score, and I already was up 14-0, I decided to mess around a little and ran back 2 safeties from the 40-yard line, which apparently pissed the announcer off. Not that there was a chance for Matt to come back or anything, but that dude was angry. "What is he doing?!? I don't understand how you could let something like that happen in this situation. Ridiculous!" Heh heh. What was really unexpectedly funny was the line the dude has switching into the 3rd quarter, when we were at 0-0: "And now we've played more quarters than scored points!" HI-larious. Yep. But besides that, Madden 09 is ridiculously hard. I might bring it back and get Techmobowl instead. 

Oh, and Soulja Boy sucks.

Christmas Lights

Random Tangent

You know what's funny? Christmas is supposed to be like the happiest holiday of the year, right? Yet it brings one of the most annoying jobs of the year... putting up those Christmas lights. First of all, the lights from last year are always tangled up. And if they're just so hopeless you need to buy new ones, they're kinda expensive. Then, putting them up is a pain. You start stringing them up then realize there's not enough nails. Okay, so you put more nails in. But now you put the lights up the wrong way, so the wrong plug is by the outlet. By now you're pretty annoyed. Oh wait, now one of the lights is out. Take that down. But there's not enough lights to go around the house so off to Home Depot, and so and and so forth. Pretty annoying, right? 

News:

Christmas is coming up, so we're all going to Chicago and Wisconsin to see family and stuff. Speaking of Christmas, my list was only like 5 items long but it's all worth like $300. Video games are so expensive...

Warning: Contents of This Blog May Be Extremely Hot

You know what I think? People are getting stupid. I mean, I know that more and more people are going to college. I know you can barely get a legitimate job without a degree. But seriously, how dumb do you need to be to not know that a coffee you bought from McDonald's is going to be hot? Did you hear that story? Now every coffee cup needs a warning that the "liquid inside can be extremely hot." You know what, it's not even that people are becoming dumb, they're just losing their common sense. Why would you need instructions on how to toast a Pop-Tart in a toaster? A blatant lack of common sense. Seriously. Give me a break.

Fall Break

I finally get my fall break. For some reason the Gilbert district decided they would let us out a week later than everyone freakin else.

So yesterday we got some furniture from a timeshare and decided to sell it in a garage sale. We didn't sell much so we decided to start selling some of the crap in our garage and ended up with 200 bucks, of which I got $60. Not bad for just sitting around.

Besides that we rented The Happening and You Don't Mess With the Zohan. The Happening was a horror movie where people just started killing themselves but it kinda ended up having a message about saving the environment... Odd. Zohan was good but not Sandler's best movie. 

I've been looking for a new iPod 'cause my sister lost hers and I'm going to give mine to her and buy a new one. This one looks pretty good XD. I also got a new phone, the LG CU515. It was only 10 bucks...sweetness!
